Ok: magazine was Mallix 3/2008. It says, that first MAZ was simple one shade of green, russian "camo", as said in Mallix. Trailers colour differs from the MAZ itself, exact shade of green is unknown but trailers were lighter and brighter than truck but in the end all MAZ were painted with finnish camo. There´s no info about reference colours you should use to paint MAZ but I think our experts in forums can give you info about this. Your model is mid version used by Finland and it´s register markings shoud be Ps 850-6 - Ps 850-9, Ps 860-6 - Ps 860-9. These were used between 1977 and 1993. I have found a picture on www.armorama.com depicting a Finnish MAZ that has a different register Marking, which is Ps860-2. Here it is :

I suppose "ERIKOIS KULJETUS" means what we got here in France for heavy loaded transports on roads, "exceptional convoy" ("convoi exceptionnel" in French), can you confirm ?

I really wish I could find some more pics on the camouflage of the MAZs in Finland Army.

That's another registration number to be taken into account ! ;-)

You are right,translated in english,it means "special transport".

Really nice models! That Puma is like real thing, in that "flight picture." Cant wait that MAZ-project. :)

Those are very nice models but i think it would be better if you make a foulder on each model, if you like. I can give you some adviser how to make one.

1. Go to your profile. You can go there by clicking your name on top off the page.
2. Click "Kuvat"
3. Then look left site of the page. There suppose red "Lisää pienoismalli". Click that.
4. Then put cross on the box next to the phrase. Somebody should translate the rules to you. Then press "jatka"

6. After you done, press "jatka."
7. Then you come to next page. Press "selaa" at the right site off the page and choose picture from your own files. Picture must be jpg. and it have to be at the most 2000kt and at least 161x121 pixels.
8. Then press "jatka" again. At the next page you can make caption if you like. After you possible made that, press "Tallenna" an thats it!

These advises are only if you somethimes want to put models in the gallery. If i but something wrong, please notify me so i can fix it. Sorry for my bad english. Idon't speak it very well…
