I am a new member, I just registered in your site.

I am sorry I can not speak or write in Finnish because I am French and don't know your language. I hope English will be OK. Sorry also if I post in a wrong part of the forum but I have trouble in translating these sub forums. (for the webmaster, feelfree to move my introduction in the right forum if I went wrong)

I hope you will not mind, and also I hope you'll welcome my registration anyway.

So, a short introduction : I live in France, some 50 kms south of Paris and I have been modelling since I was 6 years old. Now I am 34 shortly going 35. I am married, got two kids and two cats (sometimes tough for the ended kits ;-)

I model 1/48 planes and 1/35 AFVs.

I also registered in your Finnish forum cos I need your help : I recently bought the 1/35 Trumpeter Maz 537G with its trailor, and I know that the Finnish Armed Forces were equipped with this aMAZing tank transporter, unfortunately I can find no reference anywhere on the internet to Finnish MAZs.

I read somewhere that the MAZs Finland had were 1971 and 1977 models : are these the "intermediate" type Trumpeter depicts in its first MAZ kit ?

Is it possible you post some color pictures of these trucks in Finland armed forces service ? Were they olive green overall, or do they sport the splinter green/black camo ???

Can you please also post some pictures of the BMP1sin finnish service ?

I saw Finland has MLRS, do you know if these Roccket Launchers were ever transported by the MAZ the Finnish army had ???

Many questions, huh ???
